“He who is disqualified remains disqualified and will not participate in the electoral process,” continued the governor of the state of Bolívar.
In the state of Bolívar, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv) says that the primary election process took place fraudulently.
Ángel Marcano, governor of the state of Bolívar, mentioned that on Sunday, October 22, few voting centers were available, with few tables, and the process of creating queues was delayed. This, to create a sense of participation “that never existed,”
He stated that, in the state of Bolívar, almost 30 thousand voters voted, but that, like in the rest of the country, the numbers are “several four.”
Marcano said that there is a method used to increase the numbers in a process where there is no audit, no voting notebooks and no minutes are presented.
“There are things that show where they (the opposition) want to take the country; their agenda is not democratic; it is fraudulent; and it is a coup,” he said, considering that it will lead to a meaningless confrontation.
The regional coordinator of the PSUV, who emphasized the commitment to democracy, assured that the disqualified candidates would not participate in a valid election process because it was against the law.
He maintained that Venezuelan institutions cannot be blackmailed, and if they plan to impose invalid candidates by “blackmailing agreements,” they are not talking at all.
Likewise, he assured that the solution to the situation in Venezuela is always proposed through dialogue and within the framework of the Constitution and laws, so “he who is disqualified, remains disqualified and will not participate in the electoral process. ”
He stated that in 95% of the popular sectors of the country and state of Bolívar, citizens did not even know that there would be a primary election on Sunday, October 22.
Similarly, there is no kind of celebration for the people because it is a complete failure from the point of view of participation. In the case of those who participated, as a result of the confrontations, “they are disappointed,” according to the political leader.
They insist that the process is not only fraudulent, but it is impossible to justify to public opinion what is presented by the opposition, which is why they call on the Venezuelan people not to allow themselves to be imposed on an agenda that does not work to help. the country.
“They want to put up fraudulent candidates and also put up fraudulent results, inflate the numbers so that Venezuelans are hooked, and we stop focusing on what is most important: guaranteeing peace, growing the economy, and the development of prosperity,” he commented.
The regional leader recognized that the primary was an opposition movement and assured that they would respect the proceedings, but there were people in the town who were deceived and violated their will.
He added that these sectors should express themselves and, as institutions, should give them answers. He insisted that someone must pay for such fraud and support the democratic people.
“We will do everything in our power for those who committed fraud, added 100, or put additional numbers and payments. Because the electoral law classifies that as an electoral crime,” he said.
