Norman Osborn has vowed to give up the Green Goblin on the pages of Marvel’s Amazing Spider-Man. But nature abhors a vacuum, and with it, something new must arise. This time, however, the new Green Goblin He’s the last character you’d expect. Read on to find out who is succeeding Osborn as the greatest nemesis of Spidey, but watch out for the spoilers below! For those who haven’t been following the series for the past few years, Norman Osborn seems to have mended himself after Sin Eater got rid of all his sins. Now Osborn is determined to use his company for good and defend the people of New York as a benevolent golden leprechaun. Peter Parker has become Osborn’s right-hand man, keeping tabs on his old nemesis and benefiting from Oscorp’s advanced technology.
Unfortunately, in issue #32, Peter revisits his growing friendship with Osborn. Osborn is attacked by him goblin queen, Kraven the Hunter latter is determined to prove his worth by defeating his greatest enemy, Spider-Man. But killing Osborn is useless without restoring Eleven Inner.
The Goblin Queen helps the requirements bundle all of Osborn’s disembodied sins into a spear and allows him to do so. The requirements then stab Osborn and turn him back into the Green Goblin. But as is often the case, Spider-Man intervenes to ruin the plans of The requirements. Spidey In the end, he intercepts the spear and absorbs all of Osborn’s evil into his soul. The Green Goblin has returned, but this time he resides in the body of Peter Parker. Oh, the irony…
This twist paves the way for a new storyline in which The Requirements is hunted by Spiderman and Osborn must save the man he thinks is his son. The cover of The Incredible Spider-Man #33 (see below) even suggests this Spidey will don his black suit again, which is conveniently a few weeks before the planned game’s release on the PlayStation 5.
