NEW YORK – Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift will induce the rookies into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame during their annual ceremony in Cleveland on October 30.
McCartney will give a presentation for the Foo Fighters, Hall announced on monday… He’s close to Foo Fighter frontman Dave Grohl, who will share the honor of being inducted twice next week. McCartney became a solo artist for the Beatles, and Grohl joined the Nirvana in 2014.
Swift will recruit Carol King as songwriter and will also perform some of his music with Jennifer Hudson.
Angela Bassett, who played Tina Turner in What To Do About It ?, will appoint a singer. Christina Aguilera, Mickey Guyton, HER and Brian Adams will pay tribute to Turner.

Another actor, Drew Barrymore, was enlisted to join the Go-Go group. Lionel Richie will perform in honor of Music Director Clarence Avant.
Other recruits this year include Jay-Z, Todd Rundgren, Kraftwerk, Charlie Patton, Gil Scott-Heron, L.L. Cool Jay, Billy Preston and Randy Rhoads. They weren’t announced on Monday.
