To thank educators for everything they do, McDonald’s is offering teachers and other school staff a free breakfast this week.
Until Friday October 15th, faculty members simply need to present a valid work ID on any driveway or McDonald’s counter during breakfast, which usually ends at 10:30 or 11:00.
Meals include a choice of egg mcmuffin, sausage or bacon, egg and cheese biscuits. All come with potato pancakes and medium hot or cold coffee or soft drink.
One meal per day is offered, so teachers can come every morning to receive a complimentary breakfast.
“Together with our owner / operators, we pride ourselves on helping the people who make our communities better, and this is an important moment to thank some of our everyday heroes,” said Joe Erlinger, President of McDonald’s USA, said in a statement. “We are honored to give away 12 million free meals to emergency responders and healthcare workers last year, and now that educators are doing their best, we are thrilled to recognize them in a way that only McDonald’s can.”
McDonald’s also invites customers to honor special teachers in their lives by posting #ThankYouMeal on Twitter, TikTok or Instagram until Friday. From screaming on social media to delivering breakfast to their schools, the restaurant chain will honor some of these teachers.
