Mediaset España updates its Code of Conduct, which includes ten rules with which to regulate the coexistence of the participants of its reality shows and thus guarantee their health.
Programs that have been canceled, formats that have been released… Changes in mediasets are a common trend at the moment. However, these changes did not only affect the continuity of his television schedule or that of his partners. Just three months ago, the chain announced the implementation of a new code of conduct for workers. It included guidelines that marked a new philosophy of work. After a few weeks, they decided to update it to include what they called an action protocol.
This update affects formats such as ‘Survivor’. According to the channel in a press release shared this Friday, May 26, this is an action protocol “applicable to reality shows that involve isolation and group coexistence for long periods of time and in some cases take place in complex environments “
This document contains essential principles. It is a set of rules whose purpose, according to Mediset, “is to regulate the coexistence of the participants and to preserve and guarantee their health and well-being.”

Mediaset Spain
a new action protocol
The Action Protocol is made up of ten basic rules and is divided into three sections. The first of them focuses on the selection process, defining ideal profiles based on the type of reality show; While the second section focuses its attention on setting up a safe environment for the participants. The purpose of this section is to prevent them from being exposed to uncontrollable situations that endanger their physical or psychological health. Besides this, it is also planning to provide psychological support to the contestants for at least two months after the end of the programme.
The third and final section in the series describes forbidden or reprehensible behaviors and attitudes. Further, the framework requires adequate human and technical resources to be put in place for preventive controls and reactive interventions aimed at preventing or immediately stopping such behavior, relevant action, communication and complaint in such case. Activating the protocol.
This action protocol will influence reality television formats such as ‘Survivors’, which is currently on air. Its situation is particularly complex because its participants, in addition to facing isolation and group coexistence, are exposed to all kinds of risks to their health, both physical and emotional.
Now, and thanks to this amendment of the code of conduct, it will be possible to see how the participants of Mediaset España reality shows will have more support in terms of health. These new measures have been designed as part of a renovation project that is being run by the audiovisual company. With him they want to keep aside the usual disputes.

He had participated in highly successful programs such as ‘Survivants’, ‘Talk to Them’ or ‘GH VIP’, among others. However, according to ‘Semana’, the new Mediaset board of directors, “doesn’t want a profile like yours. They want to run away from controversies”.
It was not only his name that was pointed out. Other celebrities such as Carmen Lomana or Bigot Aeroset joined them.
TVG

This will be the last day that Lydia Lozano, MarÃa Patino or Belén Esteban will address the audience of ‘Salvame’, at least in this format.
