The Fuegian governor expressed himself on social networks about the general approval of the Base Law by the National Congress. He appreciated the defense of Tierra del Fuego with representatives Araujo, Freites, Stefani, and Yutrovic.
“I want to emphasize and thank the defense expressed by the representatives of Tierra del Fuego AeIAS in the Chamber of Deputies @AraujoKoky @AndreFreitesTDF @Titostefani @caroyutrovic_considering the strategic and geopolitical role of our province,” said the president on his social network account X.

He also tweeted that “it is necessary to continue building a more federal Argentina, where we can all realize our dreams and desires for development, with equal opportunities.”
“The whole country needs to know that defending our industry is not just defending thousands of jobs, that defending the Malvinas is not just remembering our heroes, that defending our natural resources is not just defending our wealth,” he concluded.
Of the five deputies, three voted against the general approval of the project of President Javier Milei: Anfrea Freites, Carolina Yutrovic, and Jorge Araujo. Héctor Stefani voted in favor of the general question although in his speech he defended Law 19640 and the resources of the Province. Santiago Pauli, deputy of the libertarian bloc, voted in favor of the Law.
