The Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, announced this Friday the end of her relationship with her husband and father of her daughter, the journalist Andrea Giambrunoafter his sexual conversations with his co-worker were leaked to a television program.
“My relationship with Andrea Giambruno, which lasted almost ten yearsit ends here,” the prime minister revealed on social media, publishing a photo in which he appeared with his ex-partner and his daughter.

In the message he added: ‘I thank you for the wonderful years we spent together, for the hardships we go through and to give me the most important thing in my life, which is our daughter Geneva”.
He assured that “It’s been a long time since we parted ways” and “the time has come to mark.”
“I will defend what we used to be, I will defend our friendship and I will protect, no matter what happens, a seven-year-old girl who loves her mother and loves her father, just as I cannot love mine. I have nothing to say about it,” added Meloni, whose father abandoned him when he was little.
Finally, he added: “All those who hope to weaken me by hitting me at home should know that no matter how much the three hope to break through the rock, the stone remains stone and the drop is only water”.
