Metaverse: Indian Platform Will Hire Employees With This Technology – TyN Magazine

Flame, a social metaverse company, announced the first walk-in recruitment experience in the metaverse through its One Above platform. As part of its growth strategy, Flam will hire more than 100 employees over the next six months.

The company seeks to recruit mid to senior level positions in all departments with a focus on product, engineering, design and technology functions.

The platform design represents Flam’s workplace and culture. In this, a meeting of 50 people can be held simultaneously.

After registering on the Flam Careers page, the candidate will receive a link to the OneAbove platform. Candidates do not require any additional hardware equipment, they can enter the metaverse using their laptops and desktops. The journey will begin when the interviewer will step onto the stage and select his or her avatar to interact with the recruiter from over 45 avatars. At the entrance, you will see a virtual lobby with the Flam HR team leading you up to the stage. There will be a maximum of 15 candidates in the lobby at a time in each round of walk-in interview. Once all candidates are in space, recruiters will take a group selfie with all avatars. Candidates can also take their first solo selfie in the metaverse.

Each candidate will be asked to come on stage and introduce himself. Candidates will be able to share their screen, present a presentation and even turn on the camera to show themselves. A feedback feature has also been set up for participants to share their reactions after each presentation. Candidates will also be able to place any image, video, audio, 3D object etc. Embed external links to and from the scene.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for one-on-one interview with department heads. Each room is designed according to the line of work. For example, the Design Room will have an artistic feel, while the Technology Room will display a technology-related theme.

The platform will go through 3E’s hiring process like enthusiasm, experience and evaluation of the candidate, which differentiates it from regular interviews.
