Man falls onto Line 8 tracks, locking down Station Squadron 201

The closure will take place this Wednesday afternoon at Station 201 of Line 8 of the collective transport service (STC) Metro, as a user would have jumped onto the tracks. Although it is not yet known whether the person between the ages of 25 and 30 could be saved alive, the rescue workers are still on site.

As a result of this mishap, the operation of this station, as well as the rest of the Metro’s Line 8 serving the area, has been impacted by the Correspondence Constitution of 1917-Garibaldi.

According to some media reports, elements of the Bank and industrial police, as well as rescue and emergency squads and civil protection of their own STC metro, moved to 201 Squad Station to continue rescue work for the injured person.

Metro reports the presence of a person on the tracks

At 12:17 this afternoon, the STC Metro reported on it on their X account, formerly Twitter. Line 8 was temporarily suspended to rescue a person who would have jumped onto the tracks.

“Line 8 service is temporarily suspended. We execute.” Maneuvers to save a person who allegedly threw himself in the train lane,” the service published on the social network.

Half an hour later, the reaction to the service became known: “Train service on line 8 will be resumed. All stations offer service,” Metro reported in X.
