Mexico and the United States are gearing up to host the 2027 Women’s World Cup as FIFA confirmed that four candidates have already taken an important step in the dispute.
Through a statement, the apex football body announced that the four candidates have already signed agreements that ensure compliance with the key principles of the nomination process by the interested associations.

Later, it was reported that FIFA would distribute the candidature and organization documents. In addition, these associations will receive an invitation to participate in the Seminar and Observer Program to be held in August during the Women’s World Cup in 2023.
Federations will have to present their candidatures to FIFA before December 8, 2023.
FIFA will evaluate the entire process before publishing its findings in a bid evaluation report in May next year.

The host is to be announced on May 17, 2024, during the FIFA Congress.
Federations seeking candidature are:
– American Soccer Federation and Mexican Soccer Federation
– South African Football Federation
– Brazilian Soccer Federation
– Belgium Football Federation, Netherlands Federation and German Football Federation.
It should be remembered that in 1999 and 2003, the United States was the venue of the World Championships.
