A new study concluded that Las Vegas is the best city in the United States for nightlife. Miami and Orlando finished in the top 10.
Sports betting site BetMGM has looked at numerous factors to find out what makes a city great in terms of nightlife. Factors to consider include the number of bars, the average price of a hotel, the average price of drinks, and the activities available.
The study found that there are thousands of things to see and do in Las Vegas. The so-called Sin City (City of Sin) offers casinos, spectacular shows, trendy clubs and the famous Las Vegas Strip. More than 340 bars are listed in Las Vegas on Trip Advisor, which equates to 51 per 100,000 residents.
The Big Apple came in second. Without a doubt, New York offers diverse experiences such as Broadway shows, famous bars, famous restaurants, bustling shopping districts and numerous cultural attractions. The amazing city has more than a thousand bars and offers more than 1,600 activities. Drinks are a bit more expensive and the average price for a beer is around $8.
The top five cities include Portland, San Francisco, and Cincinnati.
New Orleans, with its famous Bourbon Street in the French Quarter, took sixth place.
Orlando ranked seventh for its vibrant nightlife with many bars (60 per 100,000 population), clubs and entertainment venues. The average price of a beer in Orlando is $6, which is reasonable considering it’s a popular tourist destination. With 526 different attractions listed on Trip Advisor, Orlando offers endless things to see and do.
Seattle placed eighth and our Magic City placed ninth.
“Miami is famous for its vibrant beaches, glamorous nightlife and Latin flair. It is a fantastic destination for both visitors and residents looking for a combination of relaxation and fun. You can soak up the South Beach sun, party on the beach and end the day with the city’s lively nightlife. The average price for hotels is US$160 per night, which is US$7 more than the national average (US$153.55). “With 611 activities to choose from, Miami has something for every group,” said a statement from Bet MGM.
