The way we work and organize ourselves changes with the times. In an increasingly complex world in which we live, we need to handle dynamic work environments. For example, collaborating in real time with physically dispersed but Internet-connected project teams.
Concept was one of the first companies to respond to this need with a true Swiss army knife of productivity. And it was such a success that it penetrated deeply into companies of the level of IBM, Pixar or McDonalds. Some are not expected. The developers worked on a feature called Microsoft Loop.
Now we can try Loop, a Microsoft concept
We had to wait quite a long time before we started to try something like Microsoft’s concept. Although those from Redmond brought their tool in 2021, it was not until this week that they finally gave access to the test version. We are not before the final application, but as we will see later we can already prove it.
If you’ve never heard of Loop before, you might be wondering what this app has to offer. First of all, it should be noted that the essence of Loop is very different from what we know from office life and the applications that belong to it, such as OneNote. We cover the project with futuristic dyes for many, many useful things.
In Loop we find three columns: parts, pages and work environment. When we talk about components, we refer to elements such as a text block, a table or a task list. Pages, on the other hand, are made up of one or more pages, and the working environment is shared by the component parts or pages.
In this way, we can create projects according to our needs, even using templates, and invite people to collaborate. Changes are applied in real time. We can edit the filter table and our teammates (up to a maximum of 50) will take care of improving the parts in the environment.
Those in Redmond, who have embraced artificial intelligence by taking over Bing, will also feed the Loop with AI. This application will have a new Microsoft 365 Copilot, that is, we will have a ChatGPT class that will help us with the destruction, write projects, receive suggestions and more.
How to get started with Microsoft Loop
The initial trial version of Microsoft Loop is now available to all users. Simply go to loop.microsoft.com, sign in to your Microsoft account, and start testing.
There are also iOS and Android apps. In these, not yet to Google Play. The iPhone app is available through Microsoft’s test flight for work or school accounts. If you have the required app you can go to aka.ms/LoopiOS to download it.
