The MIT Group General Surgery Service is made up of specialists in general surgery, gastroenterology, hepatology, anatomical pathology, oncology, psycho-oncology and imaging, who focus their studies on pathologies of the digestive system.
Currently, Dr. Leandro Pierini, a specialist in general surgery, videolaparoscopy, hepatobiliopancreatic surgery and liver transplantation, leads a team of professionals made up of staff doctors: Jose Ignacio Paladini, Guillermo Ruiz, Brian Evans and Juan Pablo Ilyas.

As an activity of service, with 10 years of development in the liver transplant project Dr. Leandro Pierini, José Ignacio Paladini and Luis Alejandro Gaete, are trained at the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires and the city of Montpellier, France, to treat liver pathology To provide the highest quality care to the affected patients.
