The consistory inaugurates a course with ten sessions in which attendees will discover the possibilities of computers and smartphones.
The City Council of Carbajosa de la Sagrada has inaugurated the workshop ‘I dare with technology’ organized in order to help the elderly of the municipality to get closer to new technologies. This workshop is aimed at older than 60 years and will consist of ten sessions that will take place on Tuesdays or Thursdays in the municipal Computer Room.
The mayor of Carbajosa, Peter Samuel Martin and the councilors Jose Alvarez and Teresa Sanchez have welcomed the fifteen participants in this course that will take place over the coming weeks.
In these classes, free of charge for the participants, work is done on the use of mobile and smart phones. It will be taught to use some of the most significant applications, such as the data transfer from mobile to computer; the use of Whatsapp; how to perform photos and video calls; and sending and receiving email. You will also be taught how to use the app. Sacyl Connect, a system launched by the Junta de Castilla y León that facilitates access to the management of appointments with the Health Center, having clinical documentation, in addition to other services and information. The social mediaits benefits and the precautions that must be taken will be other issues addressed in this course.
