On this occasion, the company has expanded the functions of the Travel Assistant with the Joint Travel Assistant version 2.5. This improvement, in addition to maintaining a wide speed and leading the vehicle within its lane, keeping a safe distance from the preceding vehicle, can now achieve autonomous maneuvers.
In addition, it also uses online information to learn while it is being used and allows the use of this driving system even on roads where all the lines are not painted on the road.
Another technological improvement is the Intelligent Park Assist System with enhanced functionality, which allows the vehicle to store up to five different parking assist functions.
Copper explains that the driver only has to park and maneuver the car safely once. When the route is recorded, the Cupra Natus can automatically repeat the trained parking maneuvers, the maneuvers necessary to complete the park with a travel distance of up to 50 meters at a maximum of 40 km/h.
Finally, the third major innovation that the Cupra Natus includes is the Top View Camera, a system that allows the use of cameras around the vehicle with a 360º degree view, which is ideal for parking maneuvers in narrow parking spaces.
