In the country, 20,46,01,176 people have received the first dose of the vaccine.

On Saturday, 18,45,201 people in the 18-44 age group were given the first dose and 1,12,633 people were given the second dose, the statement said. A total of 4,00,31,646 people in the country have received the first dose and 6,74,499 people have received the second dose since the start of the Phase III vaccination campaign.

In Bihar, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, more than one million people in the age group of 18-44 were given the first doses of the anti-COVID-19 vaccine. have gone. According to the provisional report till 7 pm, 25,28,78,702 doses have been given in the country.

In the country, 1,00,47,057 health workers have received the first dose, 69,62,262 have received the second dose. Among the frontline personnel, 1,67,20,729 have received the first dose and 88,37,805 have received the second dose. According to the provisional report till 7 pm, a total of 31,67,961 doses were administered on Saturday, the 148th day of the vaccination campaign. Of these, 28,11,307 were given the first dose and 3,56,654 were given the second dose.
