The City Council of Getafe, through the delegation of Employment and Training, has helped more than 280 people, until this year, to have more and better employment opportunities, thanks to the Accreditation of Work Experience. This is done through the Local Employment and Training Agency, ALEF, which has a technical office for advice on the Accreditation of Work Experience, where it evaluates and accredits that the person has these professional skills.

The profile of the people served is mostly women, 61% women, in employment status, 63% unemployed people. Regarding the level of education, 57% have basic training, 34% have secondary education and 9% are university students.
The Getafe Employment Strategy promotes and promotes projects like this, where the work done is valued, achieving a qualification, to offer the best opportunities for professional development and employment to its residents city.
The project was carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, the Community of Madrid and the European Union-Next Generation EU, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
ALEF manages the awarding of professionalism certificates in the teletraining modality
In this first phase, three courses were accredited: ‘Integrated Human Resources Management’; ‘Teaching vocational training for employment’; and ‘Social health care for dependent people in social institutions’. But the ALEF Virtual Campus offers 92 official courses from the State Public Employment Service (SEPE). Throughout the year, almost 900 people participated and were trained in various contents of this campus.
