Mario Delgado, president of Morena, reports that the results of the surveys to define the transformation defense coordinators of the nine entities will be announced until next Friday, November 10.
By posting to your X account, Mario Delgado announced that the decision was an agreement with the National Election Commission.
In an interview with Radio Formula with Azucena UrestiMario, Delgado commented that his applicants will start pre-campaign five days after the due dates.
“After November 10, others are in the pre-campaign immediately, such as Mexico City, Yucatán, and November 15 in Tabasco,” he argued.
After this, he recalled that after giving the results of the survey, the candidates will start their pre-campaigns until the dates established in the election process.
On the other hand, Mario Delgado, in an interview with Pedro Gamboa, commented that the extension of the deadline is because the set date is too early to produce results.
“We need more time, however, to present the surveys and also be able to follow the gender issue. Therefore, we are in a hurry for Monday, so we will give ourselves ten more days,” he said.
Delgado Carrillo denied that the postponement was due to the resolution of internal conflicts in some of the nine entities where the flag bearer is.
“No, I don’t feel that any state has an internal conflict; there is, obviously, a real competition of competitive teams because they want to be winners, so they are very legitimate,” he said.
He explained that once the results of the surveys in nine states do not match the criteria of gender equality, there is a rule of competition based on said results.
“There is a parity rule, but everything is based on results; it is already defined; it is based on various criteria of competitiveness,” he said.
Likewise, he denied that Morena would challenge the INE agreement on gender equality, saying that they are the party that has opened the most doors for political participation for women.
Mario Delgado recalled that this Friday they approved the internal process for the Congress of the Union. The candidates, he said, can register on November 1, 2, and 3.
He added that the candidates who did not win the polls in the nine states can participate in this process to seek deputyship or senatorship because “they are different processes.”
