The Israeli Embassy in Mexico confirmed that they liberadas Judith Tai Raanan and Natalie Shoshana Raanan, madre e hijab which is held by Hamas.
In a message sent to the office of the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, the diplomatic office of the country indicated that the two women were deprived of their freedom on Saturday, October 7 while they were living in Kibbutz Najal Oz.
Judith Tai Raanan and Natalie Shoshana Raanan were received by the Coordinator for the Issue of Abducted and Disappeared, Brigadier General Gal Hirsch, together with the Israel Defense Forces and security forces, at the border of the Gaza Strip.
He explained that this time the women were on their way to a meeting at an army base in the center of the country, where their families were waiting.
The Israeli Embassy in Mexico added that the Israeli government will continue to search for all the missing and bring all those deprived of their freedom back to their homes.
Hamas released two American hostages for humanitarian reasons
This Friday, Hamas released two American hostages – mother and daughter – who were kidnapped from the Nahal Oz kibbutz.
They are the first hostages to be released since Hamas invaded Israel almost two weeks ago.
Hamas’ armed wing spokesman Abu Ubaida issued a statement announcing the release in response to Qatar’s mediation efforts, “for humanitarian reasons and to demonstrate to the American people and the world that the (President Joe) Biden and his fascist administration’s claims are false and baseless.” (With information from Reuters)
