During the assembly, Yudelquis González Henderson was approved as general secretary of the FMC of the municipality of Las Tunas by 150 delegates, who also elected 39 members of the Municipal Committee of the FMC of Las Tunas.
Roberto Carlos López Saborit, first secretary of the PCC in the territory, emphasized the prominence of women in all social activities and recognized their strength and will to revitalize the organization and adapt it more to current attitudes and need.
