Nene celebrates her birthday at the police station by feeding her grandparents who are already in custody
This huge gesture by the 10-year-old left everyone in Pilar moving. The girl’s mother said she would organize such events again.
Ten years of life is enough for Justo Ramon Gonzalez Gomez to show his huge heart. The boy, who lives with his family in Pilar, Nimbucu department, celebrated his birthday on Friday by distributing lunch, soft drinks and sweets to grandparents, the needy and the homeless. So great is his solidarity with his neighbor that he had this account even with those imprisoned in police stations.
“He manufactures and sells cleaning products; He really likes to venture out and he does it because he wants to. He wanted to collect his little money and collect his things. His goal this year was to buy a cell phone to present his products, but he couldn’t do it. Then one day he said ‘Mom, I have this idea and I want to share it with you if you like it.’ He told me he wanted to deliver food to people in need,” his mother, Vilma Gomez, told Xtra. The woman, proud of her little boy’s noble gesture, picked up on Justo’s idea and went along with it.
“I said yes, I accepted him and he told me that this is all he wanted for his birthday. I helped him cook and with what he collected from his sale and some relatives gave him, we had lunch. So that I can appreciate it when I was young”, the woman said. Ramone gave many smiles and thanks throughout that day, but there was something that touched his heart.
“He said he was moved by the reaction of the inmates and wants to continue this activity once every 15 or so months,” the woman concluded happily. After his good deed, the birthday boy had dinner with the family and today he crowned the celebration with a beautiful day of fishing with his family. Justo shared his feelings after the emotional activity. “I’m very happy and so are my mom, my dad, my uncle,” he said.
