New call from Cuba to end Israel’s aggression against Palestine

Since October 7, Israel’s disproportionate aggression has caused the deaths of 6,546 Palestinians, including 2,704 children, more than 4,000 injured, and nearly a million displaced.

The Palestinian ambassador to Cuba condemned the brutality of the systematic attacks by Israeli planes against Gaza.

The Palestinian ambassador to Cuba, Akram Samhan, demanded this Wednesday an immediate end to Israel’s aggression against the Gaza Strip to allow aid to enter his country, which is affected by a serious humanitarian crisis.

Together with the representatives of the Arab diplomatic corps of the Caribbean country, Samhan affirmed the right of Palestine to exist as an independent state in the face of the invasion and colonization promoted for more than seven decades by the Zionist State of Israel.

In a press conference, the diplomat denounced the brutality of the systematic attacks of Israeli planes against Gaza, the most populated territory on the planet, as well as the attacks of Israeli settlers on the Palestinian population in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

He explained that of the 40 existing hospital institutions in the Gaza Strip, three were completely destroyed by the bombs, and others had to stop providing aid in the next few hours due to the lack of fuel as a result of the blockade imposed by the Jewish State in what he described as an ethnic cleansing operation.

Israel’s disproportionate aggression, following the armed incursion of the Hamas organization into territory controlled by that country, has caused the death of 6,546 Palestinians since October 7, most of them civilians, including 2,704 children, over of the four thousand wounded and nearly a million missing.

He also criticized the inaction of the so-called Western world regarding the situation his country is experiencing, despite the fact that the rest of the world, including all Arab countries, is advocating for a ceasefire and demanding that dialogue be held for a definitive solution to the Palestinian problem.

The Yemeni ambassador to Cuba, Mohamed Saleh Nasher, spoke in this sense, pointing out that Palestine is the center of the Middle East and reaffirming support for the Arab country and its right to defend itself against the Israeli genocide.
