According to local media, police officers informed that the arrests are included in arrest warrants against three individuals for their part in the shooting in Hollywood on Monday’s Memorial Day.
Arrest warrants were issued for Ariel Cardhan Paul, Jordan Burton and Lionel Jean Charles on one count of attempted first-degree murder, eight counts of second-degree attempt and one count of concealment.
Burton has already been arrested, while the whereabouts of the other two fugitives are being traced.
Four of the shooting victims are minors between the ages of 1 and 17, to which must be added five adults between the ages of 25 and 65.
Seven of the injured were released from the hospital and two remain in stable condition.
The first two men arrested were identified as Morgan Desluches and Keshawn Paul Stewart, both 18 years old.
Eyewitnesses to the shootout told the media that a group of youths were fighting on the promenade and suddenly one of them pulled out a gun and started shooting, causing people to run in all directions to take cover.
