Pioneer doubled its stake in Argentina by launching new varieties of soybeans with Analyst E3 technology and three new Concasta varieties with excellent yield potential.
“Last season we launched three soybean varieties: a variety P43, P46 and P50 that performed very well in the market, all with Enlist E3 technology”, says Aldana Santi, agricultural engineer and responsible for soybeans at Pioneer. “And this year we launched another two new Analyst varieties: P48, a taller Group 4, and P62, a shorter Group 6,” he says.
Regarding the new Concasta varieties, Santi confirmed that they have three different maturity groups (“a small 6, a medium 7 and a small 8 for the northern region”) and that all of these new varieties “have been very much in trials”. There were good results.”

“We bring to the manufacturer a very competitive genetic proposition and the technology of the Analyst system which consists of three pillars: the biotechnology of resistance to the glyphosate 2,4-D choline salt and glufosinate (which has practically zero volatility and its capacity, which makes it more sustainable); a very effective weed control with a comprehensive control program and good agricultural practices which are the third pillar of this system”, he details.
The Analyst® System is a comprehensive control program that combines a program of biotechnology developments, herbicide solutions and good agricultural practices to not only seek higher yields, but also for a more conscious and sustainable agriculture.
Committed to a competitive portfolio that serves each region of the country with the best genetics, Pioneer is today a leader in the soybean seed business among other countries in the world and is committed to doing the same in Argentina.
