The words of the acting President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, who defended the “amnesty in the name of Spain” and as the only way to achieve a Government of progress, gave rise to many speeches. And one of those who do not want to miss the opportunity to answer him is the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo. He did this during the closing of an event of his party in Malaga, together with Andalusian president Juanma Moreno. An act against the amnesty in which the popular leader wants to explain that “it is not negotiated in the name of Spain, it is negotiated in the name of Sánchez.”
In this sense, Feijóo emphasized that “we Spaniards are not guilty of Sánchez’s parliamentary demands” and stated that the amnesty demanded by the independentists means “freeing those who have committed crimes.” Therefore, he pointed out that “those who have not committed a crime do not need to apologize to anyone,” while they must be judged.
The PP leader spoke to those deceived by Sánchez, already assured that “even the mother who gave birth to him knows that the constitutionalist has left.” What’s more, in his opinion, the rest is about to be eliminated from the front of the PSOE. “This constitutionalist left, who is no longer recognized by the mother who gave birth to it. Therefore, he warned that his support for amnesty “does not have any reflection” on the majority of society, since only 5% of Spaniards voted for pro-independence parties in July. The figures show that the Spanish society does not support the actions of Sánchez: “It was voted, we said no and no one can force us to do the opposite of what we decided.”
In short, Feijóo reiterated that in the PP “we will not abandon the principles for a position, only for personal interests”, because “in constitutional Spain no one is above anyone else, no matter what what he wants to be president. , no matter how determined he is. will be a few votes in Congress”, and so his party will continue to proclaim the unity and equality of all Spaniards “whatever the cost to us”.
