Since the grand debut of Microsoft Flight Simulator in late 2020, developer Asobo has been improving the big map with several free updates, each one taking on a portion of the world map. This time it’s Australia’s turn to get one of the regular makeovers.
Update Salon in Australia
The Seventh World Update is available now for PC and Xbox and brings updated satellite imagery, a new digital upgrade model, four new airports and more details for over 100, 94 new points of interest, and 16 fresh activities for simulation.
With the new patch, you can now also fly to Longreach (YLRE), Mount Beauty (YMBT), Paraburdoo (YPBO) and Shellharbour (YSHL) airports. Some scenes can already be seen in the trailer.
New activities include five bush trips – Tasmania, Southeast Australia, the North West Kimberly Coast, the Great Barrier Reef and the Sea to Desert – and new landing challenges and reconnaissance flights with breathtaking views await you. Modern cities like Sydney or Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park await to be admired from above.
Once you’ve updated your game, you’ll need to go to the Marketplace to download Australia content. After that you can start.
As previously announced by Asobo, the next World Update will focus on Spain and Portugal and will be released in March. Four other places on Earth will also receive an update this year.
