Olivia Rodrigo has announced plans to tour North America, the UK and Europe in support of her Grammy-nominated smash debut “Sour”.
The pop star’s 2022 Sour Tour gets underway at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco on April 2 and will head to Southern California in May.
The “drivers license” and “brutal” hitmaker, who grew up in Temecula, heads to Ready Shell in San Diego’s Jacobs Park on May 18 and the Greek Theater in Los Angeles on May 24 and 25. Rodrigo will also play the Santa Barbara Bowl. May 21.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on December 10. For more information visit oliviarodrigo.com. A Verified Fan Sale is currently underway on December 9th at 11:59PM at https://verifiedfan.ticketmaster.com/oliviarodrigo2022.
The trek will cover more than 40 cities and currently has two-night stands at Radio City Music Hall in New York, the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, and the Eventim Apollo in London. (However, given Rodrigo’s immense popularity, it shouldn’t be surprising if more second nights are added to more markets—including the Bay Area.)
The complete North American itinerary is listed below.
Special guests for the tour are Gracie Abrams, Holly Humberstone and Baby Queen.
Rodrigo has had a big 2021, winning New Artist of the Year at the American Music Awards and earning seven 2022 Grammy Award nominations. His Grammy nods include all four big general area categories – Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist.
His tour is expected to be one of the toughest tickets of 2022.
