Mossad, Israel’s Intelligence and Special Operations Institute, is one of the most famous intelligence agencies in the world. The genesis of the Mossad lies in the need to guarantee the survival of the newly created State of Israel. Currently, the Mossad is mainly focused on preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, with rumors of its involvement in important events such as the assassination of the head of the Iranian nuclear program in 2020 and the sabotage of the Natanz nuclear power plant in 2021.
