Open Museum in Chan Chan: program for the first Sunday in June

Activities at the Mincul Museum include a special celebration for the Jura de la Bandera and the Day of the Hairless Dog of Peru.

The Ministry of Culture, through the Decentralized Directorate of Culture (DDC) La Libertad, will present this Sunday, June 4, a special event within the framework of the sixth edition of the ‘Open Museum’ – MUA program.

The activities scheduled for this date are intended to allow families of the region and national and foreign visitors living in the country to re-evaluate, protect and preserve the cultural heritage of the nation in the La Libertad region.

Starting at 10:00 am, attendees will be able to enjoy a program prepared together with the Department of Tourism of the Provincial Municipality of Trujillo, called “Marinera for All”, where they will learn basic steps and dance our national dance. Will enjoy the presentation of

It should be noted that the hairless dog of Peru was declared cultural heritage of the nation on October 22, 2001; It was also recognized as a native breed of Peru.
