President Gustavo Petro is once again the target of criticism and ridicule on social networks. This time, because of a poorly worded message he published on his X account, formerly Twitter.
“And the world rises against injustice and genocide, only in Cokombia those who applaud the bombing of children do not understand it,” wrote Petro. However, due to the wave of criticism, the head of state continued to remove the publication.
Netizens took the opportunity to recall former President Iván Duque’s mistake when he said “Polombia” instead of Colombia. “We are no longer Polombia, now we are Cokombia,” wrote one of them.
“Cokombia, it’s embarrassing. “Not even the country can spell it right,” said one of X’s users.

The trill was deleted by Gustavo Petro himself after a few minutes of its publication.
The Colombian president is currently in China, where he will meet with President Xi Jinping to strengthen relations between the two countries. In addition, he will talk about the construction of the Bogotá Metro.
