The famous Spanish singer Pilar Boyeros, who already had a great success in Santiago de Cuba and did it again here in the last dates of the Cuban Culture Day, will perform tomorrow, October 26, at the Café Santiago in Meliá Santiago Hotel.
A unique performer not only in flamenco but in other rhythms such as bolero, as from Santiago like his creator Pepe Sánchez, Boyeros is currently in the city of HolguÃn where he performs at the Casa de Iberoamérica, the Cuban TV reports.
Known as the Copla Professor, and also the most Cuban Spanish, Pilar after his presentations on October 19 and 20 at the Dolores Concert Hall, in Santiago de Cuba, and his time in HolguÃn, returns to another stage that Santiago, which confirms the recognition of the singer in this city classified by UNESCO as a Creative City in Music since 2021.
A promotional poster sent by the Provincial Directorate of Culture added that Pilar Boyeros will perform at 6:00 pm next Thursday in another tribute to the great RocÃos of Spain: Dúrcal and Jurado.
The same promotion points to Meliá Santiago de Cuba, ChagodTour and Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (Uneac) as sponsors of Boyeros’ performance in “Santiago”, although Uneac only made the connection between the hotel and the artist survive.
Pilar, who has greatly strengthened her professional relationship with Cuba and is a defender of the rights of women and girls in the world, is also a presenter and teacher specializing in copla.
In his many appearances in this city of Santiago, he expressed a very special affection for the city which for many is the mecca of Cuban music.
