The season of mischief ends with a lot of activity as the month-long celebrations culminate in the opening of Hoopa Unbound. It is a more powerful form of genie Pokémon associated with the Chuppah introduced in September. The final event runs from 10:00 am on November 26th until 8:00 pm on November 29th, giving players a chance to have fun during the Black Friday weekend.
In the final quest of the season, players will be able to change the shape of Hupa. To do this, players will need 50 Hoopa and 10,000 Stardust. To change it back to Chuppah in a confined space, players will need 10 Hoopa and 2,000 Stardust. The mechanics of reshaping were introduced with Furfrou during Fashion Week.
Hoopa unbound a potentially strong Pokémon with a high attack stat, but average defense and stamina. This makes him a good offensive Pokémon, but don’t expect him to last too long in raids or even Go Battle League matches. It is best used as a finishing move with the enemy’s shields down in PvP. The best part of Hoopa Unbound is its dark and psychic style, which makes it a unique matchup. His access to Fast Move Confusion and Charge Moves Shadow Ball and Dark Pulse gives him an edge against Psychic Pokémon.
The big challenge players face is getting Hoopa candies to power up them. Unless players are constantly walking the Pokémon or using Rare Candy on it, it will be difficult to level up the Pokémon to be effective in raids.
Players have a chance to progress through the Special Research storyline before 9:59 am on December 1. This is where the season of mischief ends. If they are unable to complete the previous quest chain, they can get the Special Research Unleashed quest in the store for $ 4.99 before December 1st. If the coaches have a Chuppah and want to buy a ticket anyway, they can do a dedicated study. twice and earn double rewards and more Hoopa candies.
The finale is notable for its raid clock and bonuses. Hoopa gives players a better chance of catching legends and shining versions of them that they may have missed out on this year. Here is the timetable for the hours from 18:00 to 19:00:
November 26: Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres (Everything can be shiny.)
November 27: Chitran (Shiny available)
November 28: Regirok, Regis and Registeel (Everything can be shiny.)
29th of November: Cobalion, Terrakion and Virizion (Everything can be shiny.)
Although these bonuses are not as good as Shinks Community Day, Mischief Unbound is worthy with a double pass of candy and a double catch experience. If players are looking to empower some Pokémon with hard-to-find candy, now is the time to send them to Professor Willow. For players looking to level up, now is a good time to burst the Lucky Egg and gain some much needed experience.
In addition, players will find four hours of attention in the finals. From noon to 1:00 pm, players will see the following pocket monsters in abundance:
November 26: Rattata (shiny available)
November 27: Sableye (shiny available)
November 28: Pikachu (shiny available)
29th of November: Beldum (shiny available)
Of the four, Saber and Beldum are the most useful. Saber is a monster in Great League PvP. He also has Mega Evolution coming in the future. Meanwhile, Beldum turns into a pseudo-legendary Metagross. This is a powerful steel and psychic type that is useful in raids as well as in the Go Battle League. Rattata and Pikachu are fine, but players will mostly be looking for shiny versions of these Pokémon.
Finally, players will receive Hoopa T-shirts for their avatars after completing the Mischief Unbound Special Research. It can also be purchased after the event.
