The situation is tense and uncharacteristic
Serhi Deneko, the head of the State Border Service, visited the fighters’ bases in Chernihiv Oblast.
According to him, the situation remains tense. Eventually, the Russians continue to shell the area, and this threatens both the defenders and civilians. But if the enemy tries to advance again, the border guards are building up their defenses to prevent the enemy from moving forward.
The units of the border guards clearly understand the directions where the enemy may attempt to invade Ukraine again. These paths are equipped with engineering obstacles as much as possible. They have already been strengthened and continue to build up the defense system, build positions, shelters and constantly monitor the situation on the approaches to the Ukrainian border,
Dineko said.
Fighters are strengthening the area on the border with Russia and Belarus. The latter supported the actions of the enemy, from there in February also attacked columns of Russian equipment. So far there has been no change in the attacker’s actions.

A possible attack from Belarus
