The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also talked about denting the votes of the opposition parties. Now this truth will also come out with the counting of votes.

Apart from Bihar, there is talk of cross voting in other states also. Odisha Congress MLA Mohd Mokim spoke on the voice of conscience of voting for NDA’s Draupadi Murmu. In Assam, AIUDF MLA Karim Uddin Barbhuiya claimed that 20 Congress MLAs did cross-voting. However, the Congress denied his claim. In Uttar Pradesh, there has been talk of cross-voting from Samajwadi Party (SP) to Bhojipura MLA Shahjeel Islam in Bareilly. In Gujarat too, four tribal MLAs from three of the Congress voted in favor of NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu. Nationalist Congress MLA in Gujarat Kandhal S. Jadeja also said that he has done cross voting. On the other hand, Shiromani Akali Dal MLA Manpreet Singh Ayali did not vote, taking an anti-party stand.
