The Querétaro prosecutor’s office reported that a man and a woman were shot multiple times by the subjects. The attack occurred while they were in the parking area of Plaza Antia outside the restaurant area.
Authorities said the attackers fled after waiting for the victims outside the Casa Antonella restaurant.
The person who lost his life was left on the side of the Audi type vehicle. While the injured woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Till now it was reported in Code Yellow. Paramedics also treated a man who had been wounded by a stray bullet.
It was also discovered that the vehicle had San Luis Potosi plates. and that when the couple left dinner they were already waiting to attack them. It was also leaked that the people who were attacked were originally from the state of Aguascalientes.
The State Police released the following statement:
At PoES, from the first minute of receiving the report, we are carrying out the relevant procedures to attend to the case of two people injured by firearms in a commercial plaza in the municipality of Querétaro.
PoES came to know about it as the first responder and secured the area apart from paying attention to the civilians living in the area. At the scene, a male person and a female person from Aguascalientes were reported dead with injuries.
