Ramirez breaks tie with double and Rays split doubleheader with Red Sox

BOSTON (AP) — Harold Ramirez added a tiebreaking, two-run double in the ninth inning, while Jose Siri made the final catch in the game that the Tampa Bay Rays won Saturday night. wins in a doubleheader.

Colombian Harold Ramirez went 3-2 with one run scored and two RBI. Panama’s Cristian Bethancourt scored a run to seal the 4–1 win.

For the Red Sox, Mexican Alex Verdugo produced two, 5–3. Dominican Rafael Devers scored a run to make it 4–0, Pablo Reyes had two runs and an RBI to make it 4–2. Puerto Rican Kike Hernandez scored a run to seal the 4–1 win.

In the second game, for the Rays, Cuba Díaz drove in a run and went 5–1 with an RBI. Colombian Ramirez was 5-3 with one run scored and two RBI. Mexican Randy Arozarena 4-1, Isaac Paredes 3-1. Dominican Siri with 3-1 RBI, Manuel Margot with 4-1 run scored, Mejia 4-2 with run scored.

For the Red Sox, Mexican Verdugo 5-0. Dominican Rafael Devers 2-0, Raimel Tapia 3-0, Emmanuel Valdez 2-1. Puerto Rican Hernandez 2-0.
