According to a report in news agency ANI, Jason Watkins, brother-in-law of Remo D’Souza, died of suicide on Thursday. Remo’s wife Lizelle shared heart-wrenching notes in memory of his brother on Instagram late on Thursday evening. On Friday, Lizelle once again took to social media to mourn the death of her brother.
Lizelle shared an old photo of Jason on her Instagram Stories and wrote a long note remembering him. He wrote, “Sleep in peace Jayboy….Finally you have fulfilled your insistence…this world can’t keep you and mother apart for long…I am sure Jesus will bring you back to a better world.” Will bring… and I pray that you and mother’s bond last forever… I love you both.”
Lizelle and Jason’s mother died three years ago and will. In one of her earlier Instagram stories, which she posted, Liesel apologized to her mother for ‘failing her’.
Remo also shared an emotional note on his Instagram feed along with a picture of himself and Jason, whose caption read: “You broke our heart bro, hope you finally find peace. rest in peace.”
Regarding Jason’s death, Mumbai Police said in a statement: “Choreographer and director Remo D’Souza’s 48-year-old brother-in-law, Jason Savio Watkins, died by suicide at his apartment in Mumbai. His body has been sent to Cooper. Post-mortem. to the hospital. Case has been registered, further investigation is on.”

According to a senior police officer, the police received a call at around 12 noon, stating that a person had died of suicide inside flat number 302 of Yamuna Nagar in Andheri.
