Rendezvous Back to Route 66 Draws Thousands to City of San Bernardino

Second Street and Arrowhead Avenue, Fifth, E and D Streets – Classic Cars toppled them all down on Saturday, October 2, as Rendezvous back to Route 66 returned to downtown San Bernardino.

More than 1,000 cars and thousands of spectators kicked the fall season into high gear on Court Street Square in the shadow of City Hall.

Organized by the San Bernardino Area Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by the city and dozens of local businesses, Rendezvous featured live entertainment and vendors selling their wares.

Chamber President Judy Penman said, “After a year-long hiatus because of the coronavirus pandemic, “it’s back again.”

“It never really went away. It’s amazing.”
