The allegations leveled against California’s Riverside County and Childnet, a private foster care agency, are deeply disturbing.

The couple and their adult daughter, with whom the siblings were placed, were alleged at trial, had a known history of perverted abuse allegations against them and tormented Turpin’s children in their care, including their sexual assault. Others,” the lawsuit argues. “The defendants allowed the plaintiffs to remain in the home for three years” until the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department investigation caused the parents and their adults The daughter was not arrested on multiple child abuse charges.

“By then, plaintiffs had suffered physical and psychological injuries and severe emotional distress as a result of three years of abuse and neglect,” the lawsuit says. “These injuries were particularly serious because the plaintiffs were initially in a very vulnerable position.”
