Review of ’65’, Adam Driver fights dinosaurs in an epic adventure

We need the cinematic experience, perhaps more than ever. With rooms full of good and bad ideas saturated by foot, future exhibition windows secured, in which the streams flowing need minute inspections, which are given for corrections, it is estimated that some of our great effects have packed schedules. Time and time to release sincere, entertaining and direct titles, which is always a poorly considered (albeit successful) film escape that has now become a rare bird.

This is the case of ’65’, the film that Scott Beck and Bryan Woods earned by signing the letter for the successful ‘A Quiet Place’ (John Krasinski, 2018) and which they intend to entertain us in the old way. with a beautiful science fiction premise, a powerful protagonist and a good gallery of creatures to spend 90 minutes with in a world not ours. More or less…

It sets the hero, an inhabitant of a planet far, far away, on Earth 65 million years ago. His only mission is from the point where the ship crashed into the country where the box was delivered and survived on the way together with a brave girl against different attacking dinosaurs.

Adam Driver is in charge of Ariana Greenblatt’s brutality in this fantastic project, so that he cannot fully use his approach and, although he wants to please us to the fullest, it remains an impregnable set of viewers cover (or a suitable complement. in a double session).

The driver’s character makes it obvious laziness, but we are left on the road hoping that they will go a little further with their gray threats, fewer and more homogeneous for Beck and Woods to use their initial idea. Decaffeinated, this succession of events falls better into formula than because of events, lacking numbers and past animals within a reasonable duration.

For those who need an hour and a half of adventure (as if that’s not enough)

The best: slip to recover the film.

The worst: that even the plans of creatures have penetrated the limits of success.
