RRR is a film that everyone wants to see. The period drama has been postponed several times and has disturbed the release dates of several other stalwarts in the past.
Films like Bhimla Nayak and Sarkaru Vaari Pata were postponed by the run of Sankranti only to help RRR but Covid changed things. Once again RRR has come under another big guise.
Though it is not a Telugu film, RRR will now release on March 25, the same day as Siva Karthikeyan’s Don. This new date has made Telugu fans of RRR happy but Tamil media and fans are not as happy with this date.
The sad part is that the makers of RRR invited Siva Karthikeyan for a pre-release event in Chennai. But now, he has been robbed of the same hero’s date and it has not gone down well for many who objected to Rajamouli’s plan.
Many memes and trolls are coming out regarding this issue. One thing is clear in all this that Shiva and his team will definitely be out of the race and will release their film before or after March 25.
Don is a film on which Shiva Karthikeyan had pinned a lot of hopes. He is very happy with the success of his last film Doctor and feels that March 25 is the right time to release his film.
The special thing is that Don is being produced by Lyca Productions and RRR is also releasing in Tamil Nadu. Well, they may have a plan before all this but this new date has definitely hurt the fans a great deal.
