the IVE/ILE Transdisciplinary Team composed of Dr. Jimena López; LIC with Dr. Emma Ferrero and Dr. Oscar Andrada, Area Managers belonging to the René Favaloro Training Center (CARF) dependent on Health Region V. Rogero Natalia and Lic. Martín Emanuela, Exhibited at the “XX National Congress of the Argentine Federation of Family and General Medicine” in Salta Province.
In the first place, IVE/ILE professionals presented the transdisciplinary intervention to be carried out in the sexual health office under the name “Comprehensive and interdisciplinary care in the office provided by the IVE/ILE”, within the framework of Law 27,610. This is to guarantee full access to the health system from a legal point of view
On the other hand, Dr. Ferrero presented a research work done in the Family Medicine Service entitled “Antimicrobial resistance for urinary infections in primary care”. The study was prepared in collaboration with Dr. Lydia Alonso, director of CARF.
It should be noted that the central axis dealt with depressive symptoms in the perinatal period and for its results, professionals conducted a longitudinal descriptive study at the Las Margaritas Health Center and the René Favaloro Training Center, where the prevalence of depression risk was determined. Pregnancy and the puerperium, as well as related variables and use of the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) in pregnancy, in patients consulting in 2021 and 2022.
Finally, Dr. Oscar Andrada concluded the presentations with a thesis done during his residency, which was evaluated by Dr. Sergio Teresa.
