The Official Gazette of Galicia publishes, in the current edition, a Resolution of the General Directorate of Human Resources of Sergas, in which the provisional marks of the selection process for entry through the competitive system in the status of statutory personnel performed by different categories of licensees. health personnel, to cover 329 positions in both regional hospitals and primary care.
These selection processes are carried out in the implementation of Law 2/2022, on October 6, on extraordinary measures aimed at promoting the provision of positions that are difficult to fill for some statutory personnel with the title of specialist in health sciences from Sergas (Official Gazette of Galicia No. 196, of October 14), with the aim of the immediate participation of personnel in primary care in the categories of primary care specialist physician and primary care pediatrician; and, also, to involve specialists in the area (of different specialties), doctors in hospital admissions, doctors in the hospital emergency and specialist staff in the field of mental health (psychiatrists and clinical psychologists ) in regional hospitals.
In the category of doctors specializing in primary care, this is the second process to be carried out, the first was carried out in 2022, with 106 doctors.
In this process, in addition to family doctors, primary care pediatricians are also included.
In this process, for the first time, specialized medical personnel are selected through a merit competition system to provide services under their contract in hospitals in the health districts of Cee, A Barbanza, A Mariña, Monforte de Lemos, VerÃn, O Barco de Valdeorras and O Salnés.
On the other hand, to implement the actions planned in the Galicia Mental Health Plan (2020-2024 period), which provides for 98 aid projects aimed at reducing the impact of mental illness on people, as even in the development of. measures to promote positive mental health, prevent the onset of mental disorders and improve care aimed at providing care aimed at people’s recovery, including positions for psychiatrists and clinical psychologist.
A total of 1,310 applicants were fully admitted. The category in which the majority of applicants applied was that of primary care specialist doctor, with 234 applicants. Likewise, 74.05% of the people admitted are women, and 4.66%, 61 out of 1,310, are from outside the autonomous community.
Involvement of permanent staff
This call will result in the inclusion of permanent staff this year in 116 positions in different specialties of area specialist physicians for positions in regional hospitals (anesthesia, traumatology, radiology, gynecology, emergency doctor…), 81 in mental health, of which 44 are psychiatrists and 37 are clinical psychologists, 60 positions in primary care pediatricians, and 72 positions in primary care specialist physicians, a total of 329 positions have been announced. . Places will be awarded without taking competitive exams, with the curriculum of the participants being assessed.
Each candidate can consult the details of their score in their personal electronic file in the Fides/file-y/processes section. Throughout today, the provisional scores obtained by the candidates submitted to the selection process are published on the website of the Galician Health Service (www.sergas.es).
Against the results of the provisional ranking, the applicants can file a claim in the court itself within five business days starting tomorrow. The claim period starts tomorrow until November 2.
The evaluation or rejection of the claims presented will be understood in the resolution approving the final scores, which will be published in the Official Gazette of Galicia.
