The actor assured viewers during his stay on the reality show Televisa that he had been separated from his son for almost half a year.
Sergio Mayer Mori attended the Kids’ Choice Awards 2023 last Saturday, August 26th, accompanied by his father, which no doubt surprised his loyal followers since Sergio Mayer confessed in “The House of Famous Mexico” that they were more than six months apart.
In front of the National Auditorium, Bárbara Mori’s son, who also lives there, confessed in a short interview with the journalist Edén Dorantes that he never got to see his father on the Televisa reality show.
Additionally, Sergio Mayer Mori noted that he’s very focused on his career: “A lot of casting, less soap operas.” What comes out of it The truth is that I’m very willing to work.”
He also admitted that he wants to release new music: “I know it might sound a bit cliche, but (my music) speaks of the love between us, of understanding, of gratitude. A bit different than what is currently developing in music.”
Mayer Mori emphasized that the most important thing in his life is his little daughter, who came from a relationship with Natália Subtil.
“She taught me a lot even before she was born. I can only say that I am very grateful that he is the person he is. I find it so impressive that she is so intelligent, so sensitive, and so mature at such a young age. He’s an amazing person. I owe a large part of that to Natália, who did an excellent job with her,” she commented.
The young actor revealed that he has always had great tension with his father. Nevertheless, he was always present in his life: “He was always very present. There was always a lot of friction for us too. It’s part of a father-firstborn relationship, especially when we look so alike. But well, I’m proud of him, and I love him very much.
Finally, the reporter asked him if he had seen his father while he was on The House of Famous Mexico, and to everyone’s surprise, he mentioned that he had never seen him.
“If I’m honest, the truth is I didn’t see anything. I was out of the country and never saw anything like this. In fact, I just got back a few days ago. I was in South America. I was in Colombia for a while. I was in Uruguay with my family. I went to Brazil. I was there for a while,” he concluded.
