Sharon Osbourne has said that her husband Ozzy is “doing well and on the road to recovery” following Rocker’s recent surgery.
That TV presenter, 69, provided an update on her Instagram story as she thanked fans for their “love and support” leading the process.
Osbourne has previously reported that she was traveling to Los Angeles to support the 73-year-old Black Sabbath star, who has Parkinson’s disease.
She wrote on Instagram: “Our family would like to express our great gratitude for the enormous amount of love and support for Ozzy’s surgery!
“Ozzie is doing well and on his way to recovery!
“Your love means the world to him.”
The musician has a rare form of parkin 2 disease, which he has from birth.
In an interview with Classic Rock magazine in May, Ozzy said he was awaiting further surgery for his neck because a quad bike accident in 2003 left him with permanent damage.
He said: “I can’t walk properly these days. I have physical therapy every morning. I’m somewhat better, but there’s nowhere near as much as I want to get back on the road.”

In April, Sharon revealed that Ozzy had contracted COVID, noting that she was “very concerned” given the state of his health.
After traveling from the UK to Los Angeles to take care of her, she shared a bed-ridden photo of herself suffering from drip, explaining that her “whole household” had later tested positive as well.
The couple has been married since 1982 and have three children together – Amy, Kelly and Jack.
