Lazarini has 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and his entry into the industry was accidental. A graduate in Management Informatics, he was part of the technical support team in a transnational pharmaceutical laboratory. However, his interest in the service and his ease of analysis, as well as his good dealings with his partners, meant that he was able to integrate into commercial areas. , trade marketing and new business development in the ethical, generic, private brand and OTC consumer markets. Eventually, he joined Somar in 2018 with the intention of developing professionally within the company.
According to the manager, visualizing, preparing and executing comprehensive business plans with Somar’s partners and customers has helped him identify various areas of opportunity that have resulted in significant growth outcomes. In other words, “The market in Mexico behaves differently both territorially and in the different distribution channels, so you have to design and implement tailor-made suits,” he said.
A vision for the future is necessary

EXPANSION: What was the group’s position in relation to the transformation of the business within a variety of markets and channels?
Luis Lazarini: We have several business units within the group and each of them allows us to focus our efforts and adapt to very different markets.
We have arrived at the lake shore as a prescription business with medical representatives, primarily in the therapeutic areas of antibiotics, anti-infectives and pain.
Advaita Pharmaceuticals is our dermatology division, where we are also represented by medical representatives. The products focus on therapeutic areas such as severe acne, neurodermatitis, scarring and alopecia.
Serral Laboratories; gelcaps quifa Pharmacaps and Diba They are targeting the generics market directly, with products where Somar represents its own brand. We manufacture others for pharmacy and self-service chains in the country, with a very robust portfolio.
In addition, the group is present in the digital market with commercial partners to manage various promotions and we have important allies who help us to bring quality products to pharmacies and to patients.
