CNBC reported on Monday that SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell defended Elon Musk against allegations of sexual misconduct, which he has denied.
Business Insider reported last week that Musk’s private rocket company SpaceX paid $250,000 in 2018 to settle a sexual assault claim from an unnamed private jet flight attendant who accused Musk of exposing himself to her.
“Personally, I believe the allegations are false; Not because I work for Elon, but because I have worked with them for 20 years and have not seen or heard anything resembling these allegations,” Shotwell wrote in an email to employees last week was, as per the report of CNBC.
SpaceX CEO Musk has denied reports of harassment, calling the claim a liar.
