Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader Xi Jinping recently announced a new propaganda attack, aimed at promoting the regime as a global model. Under this campaign, it both seeks to project the image of the CCP as a responsible and fair player on the world stage, while it tarnishes and tarnishes the image of its main rival, the United States.
The CCP employs a number of systems to control information at home and abroad, including the Great Firewall for Internet censorship, its “50 cents army” of paid Internet trolls, and its strict control over the film and entertainment industry. But its efforts in the West often go under the radar, such as long-running campaigns to influence foreign elites to conduct public opinion about China. The target is journalists, researchers, businessmen and politicians.
In this upcoming Epoch Times Live Q&A webinar, we will explore the topic of CCP isolation and its systems for global control. Join organizers Joshua Philippe and guest speakers Natalie Winters, Chris Fenton and Antonio Gresefo for this special online event.
