Ariana Grande, J Balvin, and Demi Lovato are some of the stars who have decided to end their relationship with manager and businessman Scooter Braun.
The Hollywood entertainment industry is on high alert following the recent dramatic turn in the career of Scooter Braun, the executive who has been the focus of various controversies over the years.
The bad press with Braun began in 2018 when he bought the rights to the record company Big Machine, whose catalog featured the works of Taylor Swift, who has so far re-recorded much of his discography.
The music mogul has collaborated with several big names over the years, including Usher, The Black Eyed Peas, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Justin Bieber.
The latter was also reported to have ended his relationship with Braun, which was later denied by ET Canada.
However, in the last few hours of Tuesday, August 22, the departure of American actress and singer Idina Menzel, best known for playing Queen Elsa in the 2013 film Frozen, has been confirmed.

For his part, Colombian J. Balvin was the first client in 2023 to leave the Braun list, leaving the agency SB Management last May.
On Monday, August 21, Demi Lovato announced that she was cutting ties with Braun and seeking a new proxy. The 31-year-old singer signed to Braun in 2019, and according to Billboard, their departure was “amicable.”
For her part, the reasons for Ariana Grande’s departure have not yet been announced, but she would also leave SB Management.
So far, the entertainment industry is watching the reasons for this spate of job layoffs for well-known artists, most notably 42-year-old New York businessman Scooter Braun.
