Tigres broke Cruz Azul’s almost 10-year unbeaten streak, after coming back 2-1 against La Maquina on Matchday 13 of the Apertura 2023, thanks to goals from André-Pierre Gignac and Rafael Carioca , the latter in dramatic fashion.
With this result, those led by Robert Dante Siboldi reached 25 points and are in second place, while JoaquÃn Moreno’s men are in 17th place, with 11 points, far from the battle for Liguilla.
